WHAT ARE THEQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MS. DIVISION?
MS. Contestants can be single, married and have children.
MS. contestant must be 19 - 28 years old.
MS. contestants must be a natural born female.
All contestants must reside in Mason County, WA.
WHAT ARE THEQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE COLLEGIATE DIVISION?
COLLEGIATE Contestants must be a high school graduate.
COLLEGIATE Contestants must be enrolled in college either part time or full time.
If a potential collegiate just graduated from High School, see the director about eligibility.
Running start contestants are not eligible to compete in the Collegiate Division because they are still enrolled in High School.
COLLEGIATE Contestants must be a natural born female.
COLLEGIATE Contestants can be single, married and have children.
All contestants must reside in Mason County, WA.

1. WHAT IS THE COST? $50.00
2. IS THRE A SIBLING DISCOUNT? No, because the fee is so low and each contestant receives several items to participate we do not do a sibling discount.

4. WHAT DOES MY ENTRY FEE COVER? Each contestant will receive a t-shirt, a professional head shot (used for the photogenic categories) by our official photographer and a Rhinestone Tiara.
5. WHAT IS MY CHILD ALLOWED TO WEAR FOR FORMAL WEAR? SEE PICTURE EXAMPLES BELOW.
*MISS MASON AREA TOT, MINI MISS, LITTLE MISS AND JR. PRETEEN: Contestants ages 3 through 10 years old are to wear short special occasion dresses.
*MISS MASON AREA PRETEEN, JR. TEEN: Ages 11-14 WEAR SHORT SEMI FORMAL DRESSES. We want the contestants to feel glamorous and beautiful. Any shoes are acceptable. Please look at examples below.
*MISS MASON AREA TEEN, MISS, COLLEGIATE AND MS: Ages 15 and up ARE TO WEAR A LONG FLOOR LENGTH DRESS ONLY!
6. WHAT IS THE THEME WEAR? AND WHAT AGE DIVISIONS DO THEME WEAR?
*The divisions that do theme wear are: TOT, MINI MISS, LITTLE MISS & JR. PRETEEN ONLY!
*Each contestant will choose ONE THEME from the list below. You pick your theme listed below. This category is all about HAVING PERSONALITY!!!!

7. WHAT IS THE ON STAGE QUESTION AND INTRODUCTION AND WHO DOES THEM?
(ONSTAGE QUESTION) Only the PRETEEN, JR. TEEN, TEEN, MISS, MS. AND COLLEGIATE WILL PARTICIPATE IN THIS PART OF THE COMPETITION. There is NO THEME WEAR for these divisions! Each contestant will wear the official t-shirt and pair of BLACK LEGGINGS or JEANS. Contestants will do a short introduction of themselves (see example intro below) and then she will take a question out of the bowl and hand it to the announcer. The announcer will then read the question to the contestant. The contestant has approximately 1 minute to answer the question. After she is done she will then walk the modeling pattern and then exit the stage
(INTRODUCTION) Only the PRETEEN, JR. TEEN, TEEN, MISS, MS. AND COLLEGIATE WILL PARTICIPATE IN THIS PART OF THE COMPETITION.
INTRODUCTION FORMAT: Each intro should have your name, age, where you attend school and something interesting about you. (MS contestants need to say where they are from instead of saying where they go to school)
SCHOOL AGE INTRODUCTION EXAMPLE: HELLO EVERYONE, MY NAME IS SARAH LEE, I AM 16 YEARS OLD AND I ATTEND SHELTON HIGH SCHOOL. SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT ME, I AM A WORLD TRAVELER! I HAVE TRAVELED TO 30 STATES IN THE USA AND 3 COUNTRIES; MEXICO, SPAIN AND CANADA.
MS INTRO THAT IS NOT IN COLLEGE: GOOD EVENING, MY NAME IS JESSICA SMITH, I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND I LIVE IN BELFAIR. IN MY SPARE TIME, I HAVE LEARNED HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO BE ABLE TO PROTECT MYSELF! I CAN GET MY SELF OUT OF ANY KIND OF PHYSICAL CONFORTATION BECAUSE I HOLD A BLACK BELT IN KARATE!
8. WHERE IS THE PAGEANT BEING HELD AT? Shelton High School Auditorium/Theater.
WHAT TIME DOES THE PAGEANT START AND THE DATE? Start time for Babies and Prince Charming's is 10AM and the date is June 15, 2019. SCHOLARSHIP AND REMARKABLY BEAUTIFUL 1-5 PM. MENTORSHIP PAGEANT 6-8.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD WINS?
WINNERS WILL BE DOING COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS AS THE NEW 2019-2020 MISS MASON AREA ROYALTY. NEWLY CROWNED WINNERES WILL BE IN THE MASON COUNTY FOREST FESTIVAL PARADE, TAHUYA PARADE, SHELTON CHRISTMAS PARADE, PARTICIAPTE IN THE ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE, COAT DRIVE, FILLING OUT VETERANS CHRISTMAS CARDS, RELAY FOR LIFE, AND MORE… WE WILL HAVE 2 OFFICIAL ROYALTY PHOTO SHOOTS!
There are 7 optional's awarded before crowning. These are custom trophies and are given to every age division. Best Interview, Photogenic, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, Best Theme Wear/Best Intro, and Best Personality. We have the right to combine age divisions if there are 3 or less.
Age division cut off is by June 15th. We do allow contestants to move up into the next age division at the parents request (usually because the child is very tall for their age or they don't have to compete against a sibling) contestants cannot move down an age division.
HOW CAN I GET FEE'S OFF? The Referral Program.... ALL 3 Pageants have the same opportunity to get a free entry, here is how you do it. Have your friends sign up with you! Every referral that signs up under your contestants name she will get $10 back and if you get 5 referrals that means your contestant will enter for free! Each program will have special awards of the most referrals.
